You don't have to live in Jefferson County, New York to participate or become a member.

The North Country Kennel Club was established many years ago as an affiliate club of the American Kennel Club and sponsored shows and matches under the auspices of the AKC. In addition to furthering responsible breeding in conformation with AKC standards, the club has sponsored events that would further the relationship between owner and purebred dogs. They are a source of information for people who are considering the purchase of a purebred dog. A vast network of breeders is established through the AKC that can virtually connect a potential owner with the breed of their choice. The club is a diverse group of dog enthusiasts who all share one common characteristic ~ a love for dogs!

If you are interested in purebred dogs, the North Country Kennel Club is a great group to get involved in. We are involved in conformation showing, obedience, agility, rally etc. All of these activities are great ways to strengthen the bond between dog and owner. The club is also a great way to just have fun with your lovable pure breed canine companion. You do not have to be a member of a National breed club & you do not have to be a breeder or serious show person to benefit from our All Breed Club. The North Country Kennel Club also reaches out to the community and helps those in need.
